stretched tires vs fitted tires on aftermarket wheels
I'm running on a set of enkei rpf1's. 16x8 +38 with 205/45 tires for my ge8. i like em but i want more of that fitted/track look with the tires rather than the stretched tire/slammed look. my friend thats an expert told me that i should switch to fitted tires because it'll put more miles on your milage thing then what you actually drove with stretched tires. or something like that. what you guys think? and any recommendations on tire sizes for 16x8 to give that track/ fitted look? thanks it would mean a lot for help!

Bigger rolling radius - wider tyres - will put fewer miles on your odometer and make your speedo read lower than your actual speed. Your friend's right, but the difference between stretch and fitted is going to be negligible.
So if you want to find out how much your speedo is going to be out or how much more or less clearance you're going to have with wheel and tyre combos, try:
Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com
And if you want to see what a particular tyre is going to look like on a particular width rim, then try:
Tyrestretch.com
There's other calculators out there that say they calculate tyre stretch, but generally, you can get a lot of tyres on there with a mad stretch on them that calculators would say aren't going to fit. The reference points I've always used are speedometer accuracy and OEM clearances.
