2002-2005 14" Civic Rims on 2010 Fit Sport
Hey, all. I'm trying to get some winter tires for my girlfriend's 2010 Honda Fit Sport and this forum seemed the best place to ask. There's a pretty good local deal nearby for a set of Michelin X-ice 185/70/14 tires already mounted on a set of factory 2002-2005 Honda Civic 14" steel rims. Does anybody here know if that's a clean fit for the 2010 Fit? I admittedly don't have a ton of experience using non-stock wheel and tire sizes and definitely would appreciate more experienced opinions, but I see that Tire Rack does recommend 185/70/14 tires on 14" rims as a smaller rim option for the 2010 Fit. And it looks like the 2002-2005 Civics used the same bolt pattern. I'm mostly just concerned about whether or not they'd leave enough room for the brakes.
I'm hoping there's somebody out there who may have already tried the Civic rims for a definite answer. I also see that the Civic center bore is slightly larger (56.1) than the Fit's (54). Is that a large enough difference to be concerned about? I'm using this list as a resource: Bolt pattern | Stud Pattern : Honda Bolt Patterns
Thanks for the help!
Edit: Apologies for the mess of a title. Managed to clumsily hit enter part way through typing the title and attempting to edit the title after the fact doesn't seem to be taking.
