Thanks for the info. I'm very interested in the design of the intake (curve towards firewall....or away, connected to cold air source, CAI or SRI, etc). Especially if they have dyno numbers or information. Just curious!

Also, please keep adding items to your GK5 section. I just ended up ordering a strut tower bar.....randomly. Seems like a good price.

Tell me about it. I'd be all over prototyping that intake if I lived in Cali, but I'm on the other side of the States, PA...

Found this on their facebook page. Didn't see anything on their site yet, though. I'll report back here as soon as I hear back from them.

OMG! YESSSSssss! I am liking the looks of this intake vs the Weapon R and AEM. Woot, Woot! Looks like a pain in the ass to install though. As if the front bumper and the bottom aero piece(s) may need to be removed.

Thanks for posting this. This looks promising!

HPS Intake

Wow...I have a lot of info for you guys. Just got off the phone with them.

The intake is available NOW through their dealers. They have a CAI (Cold Air Intake) and an SRI (Short Ram Intake). The CAI can be converted to the SRI.
Here is a link to a list of their dealers ---> HPS DEALERS

The CAI made 5.4whp and 5.3lb-ft of torque.
The SRI made 3.5whp and 3.1lb-ft of torque.

Dyno graphs of both will be posted shortly on their Facebook page (I ask them to put it up.)

The CAI part number is 37-568-WB (WB=Wrinkle Black, R=Red, BL=Black, P=Polished).

The SRI part number is 27-568-WB (Same color options, etc).

BTW: They did have an intake that made 9whp but it threw a code. I asked the gentleman to leave that option open to purchase and DO NOT scrap the parts. Leave it open to sale because tuning options are almost complete for the GK5. He's going to talk to R&D to see if they will have the 9whp CAI parts available for purchase.

alnepo1028 - Thanks again for posting up the info bro. Sorry if I jump the gun but I move pretty quickly when I get a little bit of info.

Myxalplyx - No worries man....goes to show how much quicker a response one can expect from a phone call as opposed to an email and a Facebook message.

Any advice for us guys out here in California? According to one of HPS' dealers, there's isn't anything out there now that'd pass smog here.

I'd feel really nervous driving in the rain with that.
