interesting but off the bat I don't believe it. If paper filters increase resistance as they catch stuff, a foam filter will suffer the exact same fate.

 

NOt this one specifically since I haven't played with it ,, but most decent quality oiled foam air cleaners tolerate clogging better. There is a reason pretty much most dirt bikes have them,, I like being able to clean the filters if I have a "event" that forces it.. (Not likely on the fit) But for long trips like to Alaska foam filters are my first choice, second is a K&N with a foam outerwear.
