Fake vent delete needed

Looking for a "fake vent" delete kit: anyone come across a good one?

I would even settle for taking the bumper off and wrapping the fake plastic vents in front and back in vinyl at this point.

Brian17Si from the CivicX forum came up with a neat DIY hack to make the "fake vents" into "real vents"

The fit bumper is slightly different however, it appears there's a solid plate behind the fake vents, which are held on by tabs:

My vision is more for aero/highway mpg. The front is to get a hard piece of plastic cut to fit the hypotenuse between the odd-lipthing and the lower fake-vent-thing, then wrapped in vinyl. The rear probably just wrapped in vinyl with no added plastic.

Now if i can remove the tabs without removing the whole bumper (or scratching the paint) this project gets even easier...

I'd be interested in this as well for the Fit. You are showing a Civic above...

lol

More for inspiration than anything else, as the only method as of now appears to be DIY. Note the stock photos of the fake vent applique for a Fit related version.

for the fronts, I believe you can use pry tools to remove the fake vents / fog covers

(edit, come to think of it, I think you have to go under bumper, remove under tray, and reach from behind)

I am not 100% sure on the rears. perhaps this is a job for the chilton manual to confirm?

Yeah, that may be the safest option...
