Visual garage shark fin antenna

Ok so I find it annoying to remove my antenna everytime I bring it to the carwash so I did a search and found Visual garage. Even though their site is down I emailed sales at 10pm and was surprised that I got an email back 5mins later. He ask me for the color code that is on my door and confirmed that they do have the paint which is NH797M Modern steel metallic. The lead time is 1 to 2 weeks. As soon as I get the antenna I will post some installation pictures.

I just ordered one last week. They can match my tidewater blue metallic Fit!.
I emailed and response from Arthur in sales was almost immediate. I asked about their website and was given another person to write to for a timeline, but he never responded to me.

Vanguard - Thanks for the installation link

Please post some pictures when you get yours. I haven't seen a 15 fit with one yet.

I have a 2010 Fit-
is the Modern Steel Metallic color of your GK the same color as the grey gunmetal of the GE8 Fits?

Darn. I had wanted a shark fin antenna but couldn't find a place that would paint by color code nor find a pbp colored antenna. I ended up getting a shorter CF one.

No- I don't think so- the price I paid is $87 including shipping--they have all the colors of the older model Fits and apparently they can match the 2015's as well.

I bet my daughter will like this item on her Fit, but I need to make sure they can match the Honda "Passion Berry Pearl" color.

Thanks for the info!

Email sales@visualgarage.com
Arthur responds right away and is very helpful. He can let you know if they can color match.
A shame they are losing sales because their website is not up and running.

I would be interested in this as well if it's a decent discount. I just can't see spending $90 for an antenna.

I'd spend the money if one of y'all would come over and do it for me.

I'll make the martinis.

I've gone through a number of car washes without the darn thing breaking off, but I make sure its one of those brushless car washes, just the spray type.

I am with you SR45, but getting my daughter to either make sure she only uses brushless car washes, or get out and unscrew the stub, is another thing. I have tried to lead by example, even taking her to the local brushless car wash with me, but until she has swirls in her paint job or a broken antenna, I doubt she will appreciate what I am saying.

This from a girl who gets "A''s" in things like Genetics in school.....and has a 3.80 grade point average going into her Junior year of college.

I do like the look, as my wife has this style on her 2014 Mazda CX-5. Of course, once again, getting her to appreciate a brushless car wash is about the same (it all goes back to those pesky Genetics).

I installed that antenna in my Fit Sport 2013 and in my wife's car Mitsubishi RVR 2014 and we are very happy, for the RVR we got a better reception than the OEM antenna, no problems with the car wash (no contact car cash), for the Fit keep it the same level of reception.

What's the problem with brush car washes? Is it really prone to break? I've taken it twice and taken my previous car with a similar antenna through many brush car washes without any problems.
