hey man i have a jdm fit 2015 and bought a rear dumper lip but supplier sent the wrong version (usdm) will i be able to install the usdm bumper lip on my jdm rear bumper?

 

No, you will not be able to. The USDM Rear bumper is much bigger than the JDM version because of a thicker reinforcement beam that sits behind the rear bumper cover.

 

actually i have a front lip and rear lip and side skit. the side skirt fits perfectly. im thinking of cutting them (front and rear lips) to reduce the length because i appears to be just a bit longer the the jdm bumper do you think it will work?

 

GO for it if you think its worth spending that extra $$$ to make the rear lip to fit. I am sure most bodyshop will be willing to take on this job if money isn't an issue.

 

 

I find it kind of funny that it's been over a year and there is no response on finding that rear bumper....
