That's cool! I also want the X-Wing hud but the thing with these designs is you have to remember there's a clock in the middle, which can either ruin or compliment your design :|

 

You can turn off the clock/date if you wish.

Looking to start that thread soon! Will start off with what I have here, and maybe instructions/templates too if you want to make your own. I'd be glad to share but I'm only doing this on my free time so please don't expect anything coming up anytime soon in terms of new designs .

I think this is the least looked at feature on the new Fits but its actually one of the best. A custom hud/wallpaper is one of the few things you can change that can give your car a very unique look and make it personal.

 

X-Wing HUD... Man I'd love that.

How does it look on your Garmin? I sized this particularly for the EX's 7" screen and left the middle bare for the time and date... Looking forward to seeing how it works out!

 

So I just tried this in my LX and stupid me forgot that the t only displays the time and its on the wrong spot. It's on the top right corner. Still a cool wallpaper though. Thanks!

 

This might be a dumb question but I have an EX with a touchscreen. How can i see the wallpaper once I have selected it? I only see it when I preview it :/

 

You're almost there! the settings that give you the option to displack the clock should be a few sub-menus away. You can refer to the flowchart of menus in your user's manual dude..

 

It's not my best work, but I fixed tweaked the perspective on that screenshot and cropped it down to this.
