I tried measuring the thickness of the Honda cargo mat and WeatherTech front mats. The Honda cargo mat is about 1.45 mm thick. The floor mats were more difficult to measure because of the little lip on the edge of the material. It messed up the placement of the calipers on the mat. I have a micrometer somewhere. If I can find it, I can get a more accurate measurement.
As it is now, though, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference in thickness between the Honda cargo mat and the WeatherTech front mats. |
nice! just ordered it.

Can confirm they fit just great.
https://i.imgur.com/Kx3avyTl.jpg I have a couple fork mounts for truck beds coming that I'm going to mount to some plywood. A towel under and around the back tires will work but it would be nice to have a more elegant solution. Attachment 86993 This is a close-up of the fork-mounts that I mounted to a piece of 3/4" plywood, shaped to fit snugly into the trunk Attachment 86994 Angled view to see 1 road bike with other rear seat in the upright position. **Note: I remove the saddles from my bikes to get them inside. I have seen others get theirs inside without doing this, but I couldn't make that happen. Attachment 86995 2 road bikes inside… Attachment 86996 Side view with 2 bikes inside. Notice the overlap of the rear wheel with the front seats in their normal position. I tried several different types of orientation for the front fork, always getting the handlebars as close to the window on the tailgate without touching. This was the farthest back that I could get them. Attachment 86997 Full rear view, also showing the 2" hitch with the plug in it. |
