I gave extendmyseat.com my car last week to engineer the rails. They gave me a free pair of brackets, and installed them for me. I assume they will be available to all soon. Its a brand new car to me. I have a 2015 Fit EX, and driving it back from their shop in Murrieta was a dream. I didn't even mind the LA traffic for a change. Highly recommended. Being 6'3" with a 36" inseam, this was my only complaint with the car, and now its fixed. I love this car now.

I hope this helps, because I was looking for a solution for over a year. I thought about removing the foot rest as well, but now that the seats go back far enough (even further than I need) its actually nice to use it.

Nice! I'm quite interested to see their handiwork compared to my own:
Moving driver's seat back farther
My design has received some criticism for not connecting the front and rear brackets like a strap, which would be stronger/safer. Could you post some pics of your snazzy new professional installation?

Nice! Yup, looks like they did the strap design. Might have to pick up a pair myself. Even though I'm proud of my DIY solution, it seems pretty unanimous among experienced fabricators that you have to do it this way to be safe. Thanks for the pics, and I'm glad you're fitting into your Fit!

Did you get the driver and passenger sides done? I'm confused looking at the pics; seems mirror image or it must be of the passenger seat.

Yeah, sorry the top 2 are passenger seat, the third pic was behind the driver's seat. Here is the front driver side:
