Hey guys,

so when i first got the gk, a full tank of gas, the computer calculates that i can drive roughly 600km on a single tank, but now, on a full tank, it calculates roughly 400km. I've replaced the engine air filter, it bumped it back up to 500km but shortly after a couple of fill ups later, it is back to 400km. Should i be concern that there might be some potential underlying issues or it's just the car's computer being stupid?

check tire pressure. fuel winter blend = less mpg. i'm getting 4-6 mpg less at the moment.

 

Check near the top of the page. There is a sticky for mileage discussions. It is never ending. It seems no one cares to notice that the Honda mpg indicator is highly inaccurate. You can discover that by accurately filling the tank, drive the miles, and fill the tank again. How do you know you filled the tank? I top mine off. No opinions, please. But, if you know of an accurate way to determine the amount of gas used, please share it.

 

The range calculator seems to use your previous ranges as a variable in it's formula. So if your last range was lower, it'll affect your future projections.
