At 65, I am even older than the original poster and I have also scaled way back to a GK5.

After somebody pulled out in front of me and totaled my KC2, I was very disappointed and figure that if people are going to drive like that, there is little point in commuting with an expensive aluminum car that nobody will be able to fix.

But I find myself enjoying this.

Just FWD, no LSD, only 130 HP....

But there are different kinds of “performance,” and I find myself focusing on the practicality and average right on 40 mpg.

So. What the hell. Nothing to prove to anybody, right?
