how much noise should an a/c compressor make when it cycles eg should it be silent or make some noise ? mine makes some noise, its quiet when first on then goes through a slight rattle stage and then by the time the engine etc is warmed up (10/15mins) it is whisper quiet when cycling

what does everyone elses compressor sound like? the same as mine or quieter/noisier

About the same on a 2016 57k miles

been diagnosing issues with the air today so I spent a lot of time listening to it.

 

On my 2018 Fit I don't even notice it but that's sitting in the drivers seat with all doors closed.

 

I can “feel” it cycle on on my ‘15 but have never noticed any additional noise
