HKS Hi Power Sport fit to non-sport

I search and searched but could not find any info for this particular subject.

I drive a 2018 EX, and am looking at possibly buying a 2nd hand HKS Hi Power that was originally designed for a Sport. I know there are some minor modifications that need to be done, but cannot narrow down what would need to be done to get this fit combination.

The Sport and EX have different exhaust exit locations. Just buy the correct muffler for your car.

I am getting a pretty good deal on a 2nd hand one, which is the only reason I'm considering it, is it an unreasonable amount of work where it wouldn't be worth saving like $120?

You'd need to get a sport diffuser with the proper exhaust cut-out and get a muffler shop to modify the hangers so it fits correctly on your ex. It'd be cheaper to just buy the correct one and bolt it on.

Yupp. The exhaust hangers are oriented completely differently between the sport and ex models. I initially bought the hks hi power for the sport because it was labeled incorrectly online. When I realized I thought I could just cut out the bumper but then realized the hangers are completely different.

+1

Always easier and cheaper to simply purchase the parts suited for your make and model.
