GK HPD support?

HPD has tons of quality parts on their website, but they seem to not list any 3rd gen model years for the fit

Does HPD have no plans of supporting my GK5?

If not, where is the best place to look for mods? I was particularly interested in the fact that they make engine kits for the fit, which is awesome because I would like to add some power to my car but I dont want to risk dealing with constant maintenance so an officially supported engine kit sounds right up my alley. Would one of these kits fit my 2018 Sport MT?

If memory serves me right, the GK5 didn't get nearly as much support compared to the GE8 from HPD.

It seemed as if they initially were dead set on B Spec for the first year or two then shifted focus towards the 10th gen Civic. Mind you, this is speculative but also going from what I've seen and heard at local B spec events to me when speaking with Fit drivers. Even with that said... You have to be (or know) a member of Honda Racing Line to even purchase the actual racing parts and even then, the GK is globally discontinued so I'd be doubtful that they would support the chassis now.

There IS the HPD accessory suspension kit and other goodies available from dealers... BUT that's not even in the same league and you'd be raiding through various aftermarket suppliers for goods that perform equal to, better, or items that HPD didn't cover in either the dealer accessory or their racing line catalog.

Gah wat the heck! Well, I'm not a racer or anything, I was just lookin for parts to make my car a little more fun on the backroads that I know are gonna be reliable and worth the effort to put into my DD. Other than the Progress RSB, do you know any solid tried and true plug and play performance mods for the Fit? I'm not too worried about engine stuff for a long time but I'd love to know what the most reputable and easy to install coilovers etc I can throw in this thing are. Bear in mind I'm very new to this XD

Camber bolts are a cheap and effective mod you could add to your Fit. Also, a set of performance tires will go a long way as well.

Yes yes, tires. I would like to get light-weight wheels for the summer (and ill keep the nice black sport ones for winter). I do wonder though, should i increase or decrease the size of the wheel? Big wheels look really cool but I've heard its good to have a small wheel with thicker tires bc the tires will act as a cushion, and if it means less cabin noise, im all for it (I hit the highway to work every day)

Camber bolts, I've never heard of those. Did some quick research, seems like its for alignment? Is that beneficial to my overall moment to moment ride quality? Or is that just important bc I will need to align my car less frequently?

Correct, camber bolts are used for alignment purposes. In your case, I would suggest using them to net more negative camber which would improve your backroad-driving experience.

If you downsize to a 15" wheel, depending on the width of the wheels, 205/50R15 is a popular choice for many Fit owners. Some people, like myself, opt for a reverse stagger wheel and tire setup for track-driving purposes.
