Has anyone come up with a good solution for the short sunvisors in our cars? They're too short to block the sun at the center of the windshield or the side windows. I once had a car with a slide-out piece of plastic that extended the length of the visor. Amazon offers some, but I'd prefer to get someone's opinion before ordering one.

I have a dash cam that goes on top of the rear view mirror. It's much larger so effectively fills in the gap

 

Mine is behind the mirror, but it's small.

 

I take one of those folded tourist brochures you find at travel welcome centers and I unfold and slip it up to the windshild or driver's window to block the sun. When it is not in use t I slip it between the console and the passenger seat. It works for me.
