ISO Non Lowered Stiffer Suspension Options

Hi, I currently have a 2015 Fit and have been looking for sturdier springs due to the few hundred lbs I carry in my Fit on the norm. It sits quite low and I've found a number of suspension options but all appear to offer lowering, the opposite of what I need. Anyone have any input on this?

4x4 Fit

There is a guy that has a blue GK5 that is doing offroad stuff. He has taller springs for sure! Also coil overs can be used to adjust height up or down.

Since the Fit is dead in North America there's not a lot of incentive for anyone to develop parts for it.

Back when I had an Impreza, I replaced the rear springs with *standard height* King Springs and loved them.
Even now, I see Impreza on the road with squatting rear and think, man, it's ridiculous Subaru doesn't fix that.
Even though there aren't any Fit specific springs, I do wonder if there are existing models with the correct dimensions out there.

Rear springs just sit on a perch back there. Very easy to find some taller springs I think...

Fit Sport Springs.

Try a set of stock Fit sport springs.

My dealer optional HFP struts/coil springs are much stiffer than stock. With just a slight drop you can't even hardly tell the car is lowered 1/4". If you are looking for OE style struts that will make the car stiffer overall do that.

I would recommend going with the Honda Insight springs part number

52441-TM8-A11

They are hard to come by, but will lift the rear about 1.5 inches and are beefier for handling more weight in the rear. I used a hitch cargo carrier with 100-200 lbs on it often in the past with no clearance issues.

If you are unable to find those springs, you can buy spring spacers up to 40mm that will give you some lift but also help when loaded down with cargo. Both options are easy to do yourself without needing a spring compressor.

Cheers,
Rez

Spring spacers not do anything but make the vehicle ride and handle worse. That is NOT the answer here.

If he wants to increase the ride height with a load in the rear coil spacer will help with that issue. I would recommend the Insight springs first, but these would increase ride height with load.

These would fit at the top of the rear coils. I would not recommend the spring spacers that wrap around your springs or the rubber spacers like these below...

@DaBinChe It showed as a 2011, but maybe all 2010-2014 rear insight springs will work.
