WTB OEM EX or Sport wheels

Greetings,
New member here, I don't have enough posts to do this in the FS/WTB forum.
I recently picked up a 2016 Fit LX, end would like to change out the steel 15" wheels for 16's and lower profile tires. Not trying to make a racecar, just sporty the handling a bit more. Already did the rear sway bar.
If anyone has a set of good condition OEM aluminum wheels they want to unload, I'd be interested.
I looked on Tire Rack, they have some decent wheels but every one they listed for a Fit is 7 inches wide. Too much for 185, and at the max limit for 195. In addition, almost all were way off from the stock offset of 53, their list only went up to 45. I'd like to stick with at or near the 53 offset, 45 might be OK.
OEM wheels would be fine for my use.
I'm located in Monterey, CA, so anything out near this neck of the woods would be a plus.
Thanks.

Wheels.

Check Facebook Market Place. I bought a set of black sport wheels for my 2015 EX. Looks great and feels like the wheels made my Fit faster.

Or,

Go to your local Discount Tire shop. I'd look at Enkei Wheels.

i have 7 inch wide "15 Konig wheels with 195/55s on my '19 fit . the offset is 40 mm. they work fine , no clearence issues . they look great with the wider stance from the offset . stock rims are
actually tucked in a little too much , especially the rears IMO . the wider track also makes the car a little less twitchy on the highway

Thanks for the reply.
I'm not on Facebook, so can't go there.
I've looked through Tire Rack and other online sources, and didn't find what I wanted. The closest Discount Tire is about 25 miles away, and I just haven't been over that way in a while. I did look at their online selection and didn't find anything, but I'll swing by the store at some point and talk to a live person.
As I mentioned, I'm not going for max performance, just better than stock. Roads around here are in rough condition, so that is a factor.
I'm not finding much if any selection of wheels that are 16" but less than 7" wide. 7 is too wide for 185 tires and at the max limit for 195. I don't intend to go any bigger than that, a good quality 185 would do fine for my use. A 16X6.5 inch wheel would be great, haven't found anything reasonable yet.
As I also mentioned, I'm trying to stay at or near stock offset. Changing the scrub radius much introduces characteristics in the steering I'd like to avoid. BTDT.
The most cost effective option would be OEM takeoffs, and if needed I did find a source for replica OEM wheels at a decent price.
Luckily I'm not in a hurry, so poking around is it for now.

There were some Enkei's on Tire Rack that would have been OK, but not available less than 7 inches wide. Not my first choice, but might have to go that way as last resort.

Aftermarket Wheels.

You might have to take what you can get as close to stock sizing as possible.

As for rough roads a 15 inch wheel is the way to go.

15x7 wheel with a 195/50 or 55/15 tire.

Discount Tire has been great to me.

There's plenty of stock 4x100 Honda/Acura wheels from the 90s-present that'll meet your needs.
Just do some online digging and I'm sure you'll find something. They'll also be far cheaper than a new set of aftermarket wheels.
That's what I did with my 15's. They are from an early 00's Acura EL. Offset, center bore and width are all stock, so no issues with fitment.

my Fit ( with a rear sway bar ) feels more settled on the highway with the 40 mm offset / 15" by 7 " rims . it's only widening the track by about an inch ( 13mm on each side )

That looks to be a price per wheel, not for a set.
I found these other replica OEM wheels for much less, but no info on quality, so taking it would be taking a bit of a chance on an unknown (to me) brand.

I could get interested.
What tires are mounted? I had planned to buy tires, but if these are good, even better.
Can you send pictures of the wheels, showing any damage?
Can you ship to Monterey, CA?
How much are you asking, including shipping?
Reply to this or P.M.

Thanks for the reply.

"Changing the scrub radius much introduces characteristics in the steering I'd like to avoid."
Just so you know, Fit Sport comes with 195/50R16 ET48 from factory, which has _different_ scrub radius than the stock EX setup of 185/55R16 ET53, according to wheel-size calculator. Both are 16x6 (fixed).
(Also, I'm now confused about 195/50R16 ET48 on Sport being stock. That was the info I wrote down 4 years ago, and now when I look at wheel-size.com, it doesn't mark that size as OE)

Interestingly enough, what I went for (195/55R16 ET43) has the same scrub radius as stock Sport setup. Note, my Fit is EX.
Yes, the front sticks out a bit, but nothing crazy. Rear actually looks more "correct" than the stock.
I know a lot of people go for 205/50R16, as that actually has a closer circumference to stock, but I wanted plump.

There aren't many high performance tire choices in 185/55R16 sizes to boot. I see zero performance summer tires at TireRack.
195/55R16 is much better, and 205/50R16 even better. Mine are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 (supposedly rebadged Bridgestone something or rather).

I agree that $253 for OEM wheel is ridiculous. I paid less than that ($243 each) for my Enkei PF01. I see the price went up, but still.

I was using this spec sheet from Honda as a reference, it showed the same tire size for Sport and EX. Were the 195/50R16 tires and 7" 48 offset wheels an optional tire package?
https://hondanews.com/en-US/honda-au...s-and-features
The only places I've found a listing for stock wheel width showed just the 6" on all trims.
The other bit I found interesting on that spec page is under exterior measurements it shows the Sport as having a narrower track front and rear then the EX or LX trim. If they had those numbers reversed it would just about be explained by a 48 offset on the Sport, but narrower makes no sense without explanation.
I was leaning toward the 195/50R16 tires with whichever wheel I ended up with.
Thanks to all for the inputs. I'm aware of the aftermarket options and their effects, I posted here hoping to find a deal on some takeoffs before spending more on new. I'll keep poking around for a while, I'm in no hurry, but will pull the trigger and get something before too long. I also keep checking ebay, craigslist, etc, but nothing interesting yet.

Oops, sorry for causing a confusion. I meant that all OEM wheels are 16x6 (fixed in the original post).
Also, I had written down the 195/50R16 thing for Sport trim back in 2019 from wheel-size.com.
Now I see that it doesn't have OE marking on that site. So I'm not sure why it's listed at wheel-size.com at all.
I should stop typing before I confuse everyone, including myself, further.

That's OK, I'm still wondering about that Honda spec sheet showing narrower track for the Sport trim.
If Honda can print confusing info, the rest of us should be allowed.

I inquired a few weeks back in post #11, no answer.
Possibly doesn't want to ship to California.

Check out your local auto salvage yards or online on Facebook Marketplace.

I found my black sport wheels on Facebook Marketplace.

Thanks, I have checked the salvage yards locally, but haven't had them expand the search area so far.
I'm not on Facebook, but have looked at Craigslist, ebay, etc.
To be honest, I haven't really pushed this much, not in any rush, just poked around at it somewhat to see what popped up.
Things are slowing down around here a bit, so I may look more actively soon.
