What, no Tire Rack?

I've bought Yokohama Avid Ascend twice. Good value.

Tire Rack vs. Discount Tire.

Discount Tires has shops in every city.

Unless you live near the Tire Rack warehouse near South Bend Indiana Tire Rack has indy shops that are contractors for Tire Rack.

I'd rather go to an actual shop rather than a contractor working on behalf of the actual shop itself.

Discount Tire for life.

Stock Fit wheels are 6 inches wide, so 205 wide tires would be at the recommended limits.
It will be a bit sloppy in the hard corners due to it being squeezed in, and since the tire height will be just 1mm taller than 185/55, I doubt it would give you that much better ride. If anything, it might get a bit noisier, and lower gas mileage by a tiny bit.

I run Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 195/55 on 16x7 Enkei PF01, which makes the car 5-6 mm taller than stock. I actually like this quite a bit.

In the end, I think the tire itself matters a lot more than size, so read reviews!

I like your enthusiastic endorsement.

Tire Rack has their indy contractors. Try explaining to them you need a Tire replaced.

I'd rather go to Discount Tire directly.

i run the cheapest thing round and black...the stocktire size is odd and expensive...will try for a more low profile OR might just run winter tires all year because gettin too old to change them! i never really spent a fortune on tires because they are literally wearing out before your eyes !!

if your Canadian i use PCMtires not sure if cheap for USA peeps

I've used Tire Wreck. Their indy contractor installed the tires without a problem. However, I patronize a local tire shop. I pay more, but, as you allude, they provide good service. If I roll in with a nail in my tire, they do the repair almost immediately.
