Do you have a carfax? Perhaps it could have been down from a serious accident, and wasn't able to be sold for a while

I can think of a couple of good(?) possibilities.

Bought the car to commute, but ended up becoming 100% remote worker. Hint: 2020. Decided to get rid of it after all these years (switched to EV, maybe).
An old person who bought it, but soon stopped driving for one reason or another, but kept it around. For one reason or another, including passing to the better place (cough cough), and the estate dump.

Whatever is the case, take good care of it, and enjoy! It's the last of Fits in the US, unless something crazy happens and we get it back in the future.

Nice car. My gut thinks its been in a serious accident and has gone trough, the insurance agency, wholesaler lot, auctioned online, then repaired by a company before selling to you.

Fun trick. Google your VIN#. See what pops up.

That mileage is insane for a five year old car so you definitely found a rare gem there. It would be a smart move to pull the monroney sticker https://carfast.express/en/window_sticker digital copy to confirm the original equipment and ensure there are no hidden surprises in its past. Since the previous owner didn't leave much info it’s better to have all the factory data on hand before you start with those suspension mods. Enjoy the ride and that great fuel economy!

Some people just don’t drive very much. Something could have happened, but it seems like some of y’all want something bad to have happened. Chill out.

for OP, not really much in the way of ‘performance’ gains to be had on this car, esp with the cvt.
