Well, being young, I killed my transmission at 204k on my Honda. I am a 33 year old determined mom of 3. I can get some help in this swap.
I recently bought a used and identical Honda fit of the same year. This one drives but has major misfires due to water being put in the gas tank at one time. I plan on taking the transmission from it to put in my Honda. Trash Honda has 254k miles and I only got the car for $500.

Is there a comprehensive guide I can read up on regarding a transmission swap?? I am eager to start tearing into MY Honda while trash Honda will get me to the auto parts store, grocery store ..

Although trash Honda has issues with air fuel ratio, I've been able to start it with a foot on the gas. It hasn't left me stranded since learning this trick.

I dubbed the trash Honda "Shredder" as I've already taken the front and back bumpers off of it to put on my Honda since my hondo is cosmetically destroyed on the outside but only read ONE single code before I blew my tranny due to a leak on the drain plug. Needs new gaskets and seals...

Anyone know or can share a guide on how to do the swap? I'll share a photo shortly of the beloved Fit next to the Shredder.
