2015 Fit Colors: "Aegean Blue Metallic, Mystic Yellow Pearl and Passion Berry Pearl "

I received an email from Honda saying the following:

"The Fit will be available in three awesome new colors: Aegean Blue Metallic, Mystic Yellow Pearl and Passion Berry Pearl (EX and EX-L)."

The link to the full email I received from Honda is here:

Email: "The 2015 Fit: Small car, big plans"

Does this mean that these will be the only three colors that will be available for the U.S. 2015 Fit or that these are three new colors that are being offered in addition to the colors that are already available with the 2013 Fit (i.e. silver, white, black, grey, etc).

I was hoping to the get a 2015 Fit in Silver, like the one in the following video:

Def new colors being added to basic colors.
Just those 3 colors would be suicide for sales

It says " Three Awesome new colors". Which means in addition to White, Silver...

We want one in Storm Silver Metallic so am hoping Honda brings that color back for the 2015 line-up. Too bad no RS Orange. Other choices would be White or Agean Blue.
Thanks to the link provided by the OP, signed up for updated Fit news. Its getting close fellas.

Didn't know we were getting the "dark purple" color, first time hearing about it in the states. I'm going to have to see it in person...

Wonder how close the dark purple is to Blackberry Pearl or Midnight Plum & the blue is to Vortex Blue -- the yellow is definitely new!

I have seen pictures of two shades of yellow. A nice bright yellow and a pale ugly yellow-green. I hope we will see the bright yellow without the green tint.

The video was extremely helpful. The quiet inside was amazing. The only worry is there needs to be a privacy shelf for the hatchback under which I can put a fair amount of stuff I'll need to put back there when we move. Maybe that's not important in the JDM.

This is strange because I signed up to receive these 2015 Fit news alerts back in January and have yet to receive one. Wonder if there's an issue with them sending messages to Yahoo email???

I am sure they will have that cargo cover as an accessory just like the older models have had

I haven't gotten that email either. It is funny that the "new" colors look suspiciously like the old colors that have been cycled through the Fit's lifetime.

Though I'm all for variety in these colors - Honda's too much like everyone else these days, and prone to too many whites, silvers, and blacks.

Everytime I scroll through the posts and see JT's nippon Gen 3 Orange RS, turn green with envy!!!
If that comes to our shores, gotta get that color!!! One of our FF members is attending a 2015 press event later this weekend. Can't wait for that report.

it is (atleast in japan). so I would be surprised if they didnt have the same option in the US.

ROTTBOY - ironically we were pretty keen on yellow and when we found out it was the pukey yellow/green (not the yellow you guys will get) we were left with Orange. Under low light the orange looks almost rust brown and was one point that nearly caused us not to get the fit at all! The color has grown on me since though.

Accordguyintake (currently at a press event) posted the yellow we're getting. Its decent but would have preferred it slightly darker.

Know now that Storm Silver is out and a version of Polished Metal is in. Find that too dark so will get ours in White. News continues to be published and should have a good idea what to expect by tonight.
Your Orange RS continues to rock!!!
BTW, what make are your wheels? Tire specs/size? I assume its calibrates well with your speedo reading. One of the first things I'm investing in will be a set of tires/wheels and your set-up is my current eye candy. i dont want to put spacers though.

I'm really thinking of waiting to see if they come out with a Sport trim like the RS that Japan Tragic has. I'm very fond of his beautiful orange RS. A proper Sport model should have the ground effects, larger rear spoiler and leather wrapped steering wheel just like the USDM Sport model has always had (just like JT's JDM RS model). Not sure what American Honda was thinking by not including a Sport trim for 2015. Hopefully the Sport will return for MY2016. We'll see.

Jason, if you can please ask one of the Honda reps if the Sport trim will be making a comeback? Thanks!

little off topic.

Advan RSII 17 7J +47
dunlop direzza ZII 205/45/17 tires <-cant remember the % but something like with in 2% of standard tire size diameter. The Fit RS runs 185/55/16 standard.

one thing to note though is like most cars the front and rear fender to wheel clearance are a little different so if you want tight fitment and no spacers a lower offset rear wheel would be needed. I went same all round so I could rotate front to rear for tyre wear rotation. I run a 5mm (looking at changing to 10~15mm spacer on the back) to get the fitment looking a little better.

I'm still waiting for the interior colors offered. Should not be a state secret at this stage just 2 1/2 weeks from the start date for goodness sakes

Just like Henry Ford said about the model T, "you can have any color you like, as long as it's black."

Betcha colors will be same as in past years- grey for the Base and black for the Sport & Navi

the video from the OP is a base and interior appears to be grey
would be nice if they offered a leather option.
