2015 Honda Fit - A Tight Squeeze???

Another review on the interior space of the GK. Maybe not as tight as some have commented from the specs. The true test for each FF member - Test Drive the damn thing!!!!
Losing that cupholder, may not be your dealbreaker after all!!!!

2015 Honda Fit: It's a fit, not a tight squeeze - Newsday

What's crazy about the Fit is how it's now 130 horsepower and DOHC. Wish my GD had that much power. The Fit is slowly filling the Civic's old shoes.

Honda's interior styling is getting too futuristic for me though. I enjoy simplicity, lol.

It's finally at the same stock power numbers my 2.2 non-vtec 97 Accord is at! (Going k swap once in that one once I pick up the Fit for daily driver).

Actually that's one thing I like about the new model. To my eyes, they dialed back the "futuristic" look and made it more elegant and classic.

That is, on the inside. The outside... is subjective.

I wish I would have taken more shots of the interior, but didn't think about it. I did take a couple. I guess I meant the drivers instrument panel was futuristic but there was just a lot of colors being displayed at once, lol.

I don't know what that is but it doesn't look anything like the photos I've seen of the U.S. Fit!

That's a hybrid, which we will not get. So for use the photo is useless. The MPG is useless, the handling will be useless for us and a number of other things that we here in the USA and Canada will not relate to.

No problem! You will prefer the look of the non-hybrid, I linked it in my last post.

Dude you shared the pic. No way you should feel this way. Error was made as we're all pretty excited to actually view/drive one.
Two local dealers have them for viewing/driving and still haven't found the time from my double-shifts to make the trip. Figured that "ColinS" review was good enough for me.
Know myself too well. Would end up convincing myself to pay the extra for the EX CVT model if I actually drive one.
Nope, LX M/T it has to be. Deposit made, order to be spec'd out in June (I finally hope), delivery in August!!! PATIENCE IS FORTITUDE!

The dashboard is that of the Honda CRZ. This is not from any FIT. The red glow is the color it shows when you are in sport mode and hard on the accelerator to indicate that you are not driving economically. It glows green when you are in Eco mode and are driving economically and is usually blue.

I really love the layout of my CRZ's dash and particularly it's uniqueness.

It says FIT on the back of the car though. Did you see that?

Clearly it says FIT. You were there. You sat in it. You took the pic. No reason to think its something other than a bonafide FIT!!! Kudos for the effort and the share.

Now whether its a model for the NA is the real question. If not, then at least you gave us a glimpse of a model for hypermilers to dream for in the future!!!

The dash contour does not match the photo from the front. I think you possibly got your photos mixed up.

Goodness, you've got them sharp eyes!!!!
I missed that!!!
Great observation. That dash hump seems totally different.
Photo mix-up??? A forgivable human error.

After looking back at the pics, you are right. The CR-Z and the Fit were right next to one another at the show. I ended up grouping the photos when uploading them. Mystery solved, lol. Here is the correct dash for comparison purposes. I didn't take this photo btw.

I went to the NY auto show and sat in the front and back seat, the back seat seems to have more leg room than the GE8.

That's because OP, it does have about 4 inches more than last years model.
