2015 Fit now on Honda's main website

Well Finally Honda has put the 2015 Fit as the primary destination for the Honda Fit instead of defaulting to the page with information about the 2013. Does this mean it is "officially" on sale????:popc:

Correction, $1565 is the upgrade cost for leather EX CVT to EX-L CVT. and that includes heated seats and mirrors.
No EX-L 6MT is available. So I too am interested in the Clazzio leather seat covers.

Is it possible to request the dealership to lower the car like that?

warrsega Jun 9, 2014 10:25 PM

On the new GK website it says the following: [1] 33 city/41 highway/36 combined mpg rating for CVT model without paddle shifters. 32 city/38 highway/35 combined mpg rating for CVT models with paddle shifters. Based on 2015 EPA mileage ratings. Use for comparison purposes only. Your mileage will vary depending on how you drive and maintain your vehicle.
Honda here talks about lower gas mileage on the car with paddleshifters. I thought the 41 mpgs was for the LX only due to a slighly lower weight and possible different gearing. Do the paddle shifters on the EX have anything to do with the lower gas mileage as compared to the LX without paddle shifters?

"Eco coach". Hope that feature is an option to turn off.

No, the paddle shifters do not have anything to do with the lower fuel economy rating of the EX compared to the LX.
The differences can be attributed to:
1. lower weight (86 pounds)
2. Slightly taller, LRR tires
3. Underbody aero bits, unique to the LX CVT
4. Possibly, different programing of the CVT.

I am anxious to see a real world comparison of an LX and EX CVT and also see if either of them will be able to actually get better fuel economy than the 6MT. Something the automatic GE fit could never manage despite its higher EPA rating compared to the GE 5MT.

Things. Are. Happening!!!!!

Ooh, I'm excited.

Dealer supposed to update me a week from today. I've been living my life from one phone call from him to another. :D!

Don't think so, it is lights around the speedometer that go from white to green depending how you drive. I ignore it just fine on my Accord.

Green (econ) and blue (higher consumption) on the 2015 Fit. Any acceleration or climbing a grade is usually blue. Level, even over 70 mph is green.

Eco button changes engine and A/C settings, and you can turn that mode off and on with the button. Haven't seen much of a sifference so far.
