Colors

Is anyone here from Michigan or near the border (i.e. Northern Ohio) that has seen colors offered other than silver, black, grey,or red. My local dealer says that those are the only colors available and there's not indication of when they'll be receiving any others. I am looking for the passion berry pearl but not having any luck whatsoever.

Sorry to say but your local dealer is full of BS. They're wanting to just sell you what they have on the lot. Very typical.

Go to Cars.com and stick in your Zip and the distance your willing to travel. It'll show you all the dealers and their incoming inventory. Once you find one, call, visit and finish your deal. BTW, you should know that PBPearl is only available for the EX models.

Hope this helps.

Scumbags! I had a feeling but I sometimes dream salesmen aren't liars. I was looking at the EX model so that suits me just fine. Thanks for the info

They aren't full of BS. Those were the colors that were produced first. Then was Blue, White, and Purple. Which are just now making their way to dealers. It could just be they haven't received any yet.

I'm not in Michigan (Texas in my case), but for whatever this is worth, the dealer I bought from had another customer he was working with who has a standing order for a blue 2015 EX-L with Navigation.

Apparently there has been exactly one of those in the state of Texas in the past 3 weeks, and some other dealer got it before he did.

There was someone else who badly wanted the plum/purple color who has been waiting since the 2015s became available.

Silver, black, gray, and red seem to be available pretty easily, as do the white and the bronze. The trouble is they're not all available at once! I only got my car in the pipeline so fast because I said I was perfectly happy with any of those colors, thought I'd prefer to not have a black one (Texas + Black Car = Oven!).

That's because that Blue EX-L Navi is living in my driveway! Only one in TX for at least another week or so!

Haha, that's awesome! Small world isn't it?

I also meant to add my dealer also commented you can forget a blue LX right now.

Sometimes being indifferent to color helps! No offense toward anyone holding out for the right car for them intended of course.

I went to that link as well, but can't seem to find the option to search for their incoming cars. How did you search for it?

I can only get cars that are currently in stock. Thanks for the link by the way. It beats going to every dealer's website and checking their inventory, a time saver.

In fact I bought it out from someone else who went to dinner without putting in a deposit nor starting the paperwork. I was just chilling at the dealer waiting for the person to leave then snapped it up faster than your can say where's my fit?
