Finally Got My EX!

Long story short, I was going back and forth with a salesman for a week or so. This morning he called to say that they agreed to the price I offered for a EX CVT. Went down and got my Fit. First "new" car I have bought in 15 years.

FYI if anyone on Oahu wants a good deal on a 2015 Fit or any Honda hit up Matt Chong at Tony Honda.

Big thanks to Rottboy and everyone on here posting up info about the 2015. It really helped me out when I was researching features and prices.

Let the modding begin!

Congratulations!

It probably belongs in another topic, but how much was the Out the door price you paid? I want to buy the same car and will contact Matt for it.

Mahalo!

Matt had to pull some strings and call in a few favors to get me that price. Not sure if he would be able to do it again.

Thanks for the info. Now that I have some idea for Hawaii prices, it is a good starting point! I am travelling for work in Japan right now. Will be back to Hawaii in December. Things will change a bit.

Truly appreciate the input SHIBA!
Aloha

Japan for a couple of months???

Gotta tell you, if you decide that the '15 Fit is the car your getting, better bring back a pair of OEM LED upper tail-lights as in the JDM GK Hybrid. It will look awesome on our MDM GK's.
Check out the pics posted by Maxair on the "What Mods........." thread.

My pair is purchased and waiting for the wife to bring it home after her visit in Tokyo this Sept.

Damn, your good. Ya figured me out pretty fast. The sleepness nights are caused by the anxiety thinking how to pay off the debt after all those add-on purchases!!!!
Have a fun, safe trip to Japan and keep us updated on your decision.

Thanks SHIBA! Poor Matt, I hope he doesn't get overwhelmed.

As a word of warning, SHIBA's deal is under invoice. I have a feeling they will not agree to go that low again. Still, if you can get them to do between 1-5% over invoice, you are getting a fair deal (and being fair to the salesperson).

Under normal circumstances, you are right. They might sell you below invoice depending on the time of week/month/year etc. They get incentives from the manufacturer if they move so many cars. It all depends. Bottom line is Matt must make some money to pay his bills!

Thank you Rott. Being somewhat on the older side of life (Yeah! I am old), I may not do much mods. I might change interior lights to LEDs and get some add on stuff from dealer (splash guards, floor mats, visors for doors, door edge cover thingy, side molding). Will keep you posted on when I buy it.

YOu may think your old but if you have 4 boys (ages 41 - 24 yrs.) like me, then, not only am I old(er), but the bones are feeling the age.

As for add-ons, the input of purchases from all the FF contributors continues to assist the rest of us and the GK newbies who join the forum. By next year, we will become the old crowd in the 3rd Gen section. Good part is, its free for everyone to learn from our experiences.

Shiba stop driving your new car around. Take pics and post!!!!LOL!!!

I actually haven't driven it at all. Its only been from the dealer into my garage. The night I brought it home I got sick really bad. Ive already missed a week of work. Ive been driving my other car for now. Today was the first day I felt good enough to do anything so I spent all day applying paint sealant. Is still in the garage waiting for the sealant to cure. Ill start driving it Monday. I also have to start cleaning up my other car so I can put it up for sale on Craigslist.

Heres a pic, also posted this up in the Alabaster Silver thread.
