Center console USB for LX?

Center console USB for LX?

Has anybody thought of adding a USB port to their center console yet? That was one of my gripes about going with the LX was no second USB port. We plan on keeping a USB drive for music in one, while still having our phone plugged into the other.

Has anybody taken the console apart yet? Are there obvious plugs available in the wiring harness? I can't imagine they would have a completely different wiring harness for the LX. Hard part will be finding the EX's USB port to purchase separately.

If I hit a dead-end I'll probably just get a cigarette lighter USB port although it will be charge-only. Bluetooth pairing has been working fantastic anyways.

A USB splitter might be a consideration.

There are times where charge-only is the better option. If bluetooth is working for you it sounds like this might be one of them!
