is it best to remove the carpeted mats before installing all weather mats? if so then how do I remove the anchors holding down the carpeted mats? thanks much

You have to turn the hold down tabs to unlock them

I ordered a 2015 LX. Does it come with carpeted floor mats standard? I plan to put all weather mats in. Thanks, Bill

Sorry, no standard floor mats for the LX. Just order the all weather and your set to go. Here is a link for installation.

Some have kept the carpeted mats in the back and just placed the all weather over them (thinking it helps reduce road noise), but you should remove the drivers carpeted mat before installing the all weather in it's place.

I think I read that WeatherTech did not yet have mats for the 2015 Fit. That may have changed, but as I recall, people were speculating October. Some who also liked WeatherTech, said after they got the OEM, they preferred them to WeatherTech, due to the "FIT" logo.

I have had both over the years, and while I liked the "tray effect" of the WeatherTech, they were a bit harder (slippery), than the OEM.

I got these - Lloyd RubberTite Floor Mats - Best Price, Reviews & Free Shipping on Lloyd Rubber Floor Mats & Liners

They tell you never to put one mat over another. For one thing, you can't secure the top mat, so it can interfere with the pedals.

Fuzzy carpets are okay in the summer, but when you get ice, snow, and salt, the more you can protect the carpet, the better.

How do you like the Llyod Floor Mats? I saw those and was thinking of getting Lloyd's Northridge Series mats for my 2015 Fit.... feedback appreciated...

I think they're at least as good as the Honda mats, for less money. I prefer mats with the high sides - tray-type mats - but I didn't see any, and these looked good for the price. If water and snow slides off the edges of the mats onto the carpet, it kinda defeats the purpose. My old Volvo had the best tray mats I've ever seen - very durable.

Just don't get the Honda mats from the dealer. I got mine off Amazon for around $80 and took 10 min flipping them around to install. If anything, the mat with holes go on the driver floor if you're in a rush. Make sure it isn't bent to obstruct the pedals from being folded in the shipping box, else fold it back.

You are right about the Weathertech being hard and slippery, but they do contain the dirt. Have a nice Labor Day. Bill

If you forget what car you're driving, floor mats are the least of your problems.

I'll take function over appearance any day.

I bought used Fit floor mats made by WeatherTech. Yes the mat was slippery and moved when I first put them in but I fixed that by using 2 inch velcro in several places.

They no longer slip. Trying to find a weathertech mat used for my cargo area. Any one know of any being sold used or at a better price than $109? dondo53

These FloorLiners look good. I'm going to get them when they have them for the new Fit.

I ordered a set of OEM rubber mats for my new LX. I ordered them from Amazon. I found they had the best price.

I'm waiting for Weathertech to have their mats with the high sides available. They should be available before the winter.
