Hello All,

I have the unfortunate news to report that the side skirts of my new 2015 have been dinged up a bit, both on the left and right sides. I cannot recall hitting something while driving, but last night when I had gotten home I saw a couple of dents on both sides. I will take pictures and upload later today when I get home.

Please tell me these skirts are cheap and easily replaceble. To the naked eye it's not noticeble, but once you know it's there you can't help but notice it......

No way they can't be that expensive...it's just one long metal piece probably about 4 feet long, how do you know they're that much? Where can I check the price of those parts?

 

US models didn't come with sideskirts, I think you are talking about a different car panel. Can you take a picture, please?

 

Do you mean rocker panels? Not sure what your talking about side skirts....

 

The sport models on the GD & GE models have side skirts. It doesn't look as though the GK models have side skirts?
I scraped my left one on a high curb but it is not dented- got an estimate to have it repainted - shop will do both and fix a few other scratches for $200

See if a body shop can fix for less$$

 

Just noticed three or four vertical white thin scraps on my drivers side lower panel beneath the door, and scratching my head as to how I did this. Backing up with the back up camera and I get pretty close to the parking lot curb but that should have produced a horizontal line not vertical ones. I even get my car washed with those pull in automatic none brush car washes. Oh well, I'll get it painted someday.
