How long does the typical "in transit" fit take? I sure wish an Oregon car dealer would've posted this information. My fit is in transit, dealer estimated 3 weeks: VIN in the high 22,000.

 

Going based on the Summer launch, I would say In-Transit was averaging a two month turnaround. For us here, it was usually about 6 weeks or so. When things are normal, three weeks seems about right for in-transit.

Things are suppose to be better moving forward. For Honda (and Acura for that matter) a car made in North America, the typicall ETA from production to dealership arrival is about 2 months. A special order just a little more.

Cars made in Japan (CRZ and Accord Hybrid) have a longer turnaround.

Which Fit trim and color did you go with?

 

I went with black EX CVT. I am really hoping the 3 week estimate is accurate, this was not a special order.

 

Well I hope everything works out for you. At the end of the day, as long as the car arrives with no issues, it will be worth a little extra wait. It's an awesome car!!

It seems the supply channels are opening up. We got 2 blue Exs 2 Dark silver Exs a few black ones and light silver ones. Still havent seen a yellow one here yet...

 

Yup. Looking forward to a future, healthy inventory. That way no one has to wait for their Fit. Awesome little car!!
