My story so far....

3 weeks ago I purchased a 2015 Silver Fit EX 6MT for the wife. We traded in a 2007 silver Fit Sport with 117,000 faithful miles on the odometer. She loved the upgrade and so did I.
A week later I decided that the trade off of having a hybrid wasn't worth it to me so it was time for my 2013 Ford CMAX SEL to go.
Working for a Honda dealership I knew what we were getting in stock for new Fit deliveries.
I decided on and purchased a Black 2015 Fit EX CVT. Took delivery of it and loved it instantly. While black is a hard to maintain color it looks sportier than the light colored ones.
I decided to make a few mods to help make her mine and they are as follows.

1) HID headlight conversion (6000k bulbs)
2) HID fog light conversion (6000k bulbs)
3) 20% tint all windows with a front windshield strip
4) 2015 Fit EX-L leather wrapped steering wheel
5) 2015 Fit EX-L leather wrapped shift knob
6) 2015 Fit LX black tailgate garnish
7) Removed Fit emblem from hatch
8) OEM Honda all weather floor mats
9) OEM Honda cargo tray

Wheel after repair

Not bad for having had her for less than 2 weeks....

Still have a few mods planned

1) install LX hatch garnish to replace chrome strip on hatch door.
2) JDM tail light conversion
3) Spoon sports carbon fiber tailgate spoiler extension
4) 18in Rota Slipstream wheels in in sport bronze
5) paint front chrome mustache black
6) red JDM H badging
7) OEM Honda cargo cover

After I'm done I will hopefully have a car with subtle mods that will be one of a kind... Thanks for bearing with me and feel free to ask any questions....

Sweet pics. I'm still thinking about getting that EX-L steering wheel. Will it work ok if I have a manual and don't have paddle shifters? I have a friend that works in parts at a local Honda dealership, so I can get everything at his price.

Sheep manual is ok as you are swapping everything from your current steering wheel to the leather one including the back cover.

The wheel repair looks awesome! You would never have known. What did they charge to fix it if you don't mind me asking?

Did the dealership do the repair?

Also mind me asking how much was the HID conversion? I am thinking of doing the same.

I'm itching to leather wrap my LX's steering wheel and shifter. Is the EX-L steering wheel and shifter only purchased through a dealer and is it simple to replace?

Did you have to disable the daytime running lights so the HID doesn't stay on all the time?

No a shop we use called Alloy Wheel Repair did it. They came out put the car up on jack stands took the wheel and repaired it same day.
HID conversion was $380 total. Pricey but the shop is a high end aftermarket install shop. Lifetime warranty is a plus.

2 surgeries to my left ankle and I can no longer use a clutch.
If I get the itch to do so for a short period I will borrow the wife's.

You can get a upholstery shop to wrap your wheel but they will need it for a few days or give them one as a core. Gives me a idea. Anyone want to buy a EX steering wheel??

You had the guys at work do it for u? You should save up the chrome trim and maybe do a shadow chrome paint mod on it to see how it goes.

you might want to save the parts you remove, in case whoever buys the car from you someday wants to return it to stock......
