Rear Seat Covers - Finished!
Rear Seat Covers - Finished!
It wasn't easy, and they aren't beautiful, but they look very durable. The directions are on six pages, but the wording and drawn diagrams could be better.
One tip: Do not remove the seatbelts from the elastic loops, as they tell you to. Removing them is difficult enough, but getting them back where they're supposed to be is even worse. I left them attached for the left seat, and that worked out fine.
The headrest covers are a tight fit, and the hook and loop that must be joined on the bottom of the seat require an awful lot of pulling power.
They look gray in the pictures (flash fired), but they're actually black. I'll keep trying to get imgur to let me post pictures.

What do you have for the front seats? Coverking also makes nice neoprene covers- I have those for the front seats in my car, but have nothing for the back. Costco usually has a nice sale in the fall on the Coverking Neoprene covers.. I may get the rear seats covered one of these days-- but since it has been over 4 years- the rears still look good-- since I don't have a dog to jump on them & so far my grand-kids have not spilled anything in the back....

My son got a pair of seat covers from Amazon for about $30 for his Fit. His old Civic had 302,524 miles on it, and the seats were like new - always covered.
I like the look, and the idea they really do protect the rear seat (my 2007 Honda Odyssey back seats are filthy from things my kids and dogs did over the years). The Velcro you see on the seat backs, are for the installation of the cargo liner, which I do have. I think the seat covers are my next purchase. Thanks for posting the pics!!!

The velcro on the seat covers will provide a much stronger attachment than just the cargo liner velcro attaching to the carpet surface on the seat backs. Also, on the pic showing both seats down, the liner is installed with the seats down, and will cover most of that carpet still showing to the far right and far right of the seats, adding additional rear seat area protection. Also, the liner has pockets sewn in to go over those horizontal boards that cover the hinge point when your seats are down, which helps keep the liner secure and in place. I also use the cargo tray, which helps "redefine" the cargo area, as the liner has a rather loose look, particularly on the two side wheel wells. I do like the protection all these options provide, particularly the cargo liner flap that folds over the back bumper for loading and unloading protection (my old red 2008 fit had paint damage on the rear bumper). When your not using the rear flap, it has velcro attachment points located on the back cargo area nearest the hatchback, positioned high enough that when carrying cargo, with the back hatch closed, the liner flap serves double duty and protects the interior portion of the hatch itself.
Honda should hire me to sell the cargo liner......
