Very nice. Any plans for Mugen parts on your new Fit?

Congrats!!
I actually traded in my 07 Accord EX-L V6 for the 13. While the 13 Accord is a lovely car, I really regretted trading away my 07 for it. I love the styling of the new Accord, and I love all the tech.

However, the driving experience wasn't as fun as it was for me in the 07. It felt floaty and numb. I wasn't really a fan of the VCM, either. It just felt a little soulless from my previous Accord.

I also experienced a bunch of quality issues with the paint and interior finishes (I wore a hole in my floor mat in 1 month! The mats in my 07 were like new.)Also, the stereo was absolutely, horribly disappointing. The stereo in the Fit sounds leaps and bounds better. My guess is it's the Automatic Noise Canceling (ANC) that debilitates the Accord sound system. It did not sound premium at all.

I worked for a Honda dealership when I bought my 07, and I almost bought a Fit at that time.

I just never bonded with the 13, and when I saw the re-design of the 15 Fit, and with all the tech added (pretty much everything that my 13 Accord had), I decided, why not? I wasn't upside down on my loan, so I had a good chunk of positive equity. I totally fell in love with the Fit when I test drove it. It had spunk, soul and was just damn fun!

I don't miss the 13 Accord at all. It's not a bad car, it just wasn't the Accord for me. I was worried I'd miss that V6 power, but I really don't. Maybe I got it out of my system with the 07

Traded in a 2006 Honda civic ex coupe. Huge improvement in over all car space but driver leg room is shorter.

Demodded and then traded in my 2011 Audi A4 Premium Plus 6MT. It was burning oil really bad. I miss her so much:

Interesting experience, but I can see where you are coming from. For me, when it comes to Honda, I just want one of their amazing 4 Cyl engine and manual transmission combos. After I purchased my first Evo X, which was a lot of fun, I kept wishing the engine and transmission was Honda smooth.

There's just nothing quite like it.

Yeah. Just about the only thing the Fit doesnt have over the Civic is legroom. But it's such a fun car. Awesome. Congrats!!

Cool. Our IT guy drives an S4 with the same color scheme, including the same license plate holder.

Big change from the Audi to the Fit. What motivated you to go Honda and the Fit?

Congrats!!

I commute via train to work so i don't need a fancy car, per se. I'm looking to buy a house next year, so i wanted something with reliability that i won't have to worry about for the next 10 years.

I traded in a Race Red 2012 Mustang V6 convertible. I only drove it 11K miles in 18 months and the Mustang should be a cruising car. I just need transportation and more room, ordered a 2015 black LX CVT which has been promised to arrive any day now, was told that last Tuesday when I put deposit down. I wonder why the Honda dealers can't track where their ordered cars are since they have the VIN. I would have ordered a 6 speed if the gear ratio would have allowed lower highway RPM's I had a new 1986 CRX HF which had great highway gears and over 45 MPG for the 68K miles I drove it. Too bad there is not a HF Fit model. I track my mileage religiously and Mustang got 21.9 MPG in time I owned it, almost all city driving. I am curious to see what MPG the fit gets. Glad I found this site since I am a car guy from the 1960's.

Traded my 2011 Fiesta M/T. Yes, yes, yes, the Fit's a car I'm real happy with, but in all fairness, I liked the Fiesta too but not as much.

2001 Nissan Maxima GLE. I don't miss its 13-14 city mpg, and I could make do without leather trims and moonroof. I thought I'd miss the V6 but the Fit actually feels FASTER than it, maybe due to the Nissan's age/abuse/neglect by its previous owners.

Very cool, sir. And you had a CRX? Super cool.

But it's been the same with every dealer, including mine, as far a tracking inventory coming in. But we have been receiving more info from Honda lately, compared to a few months before.

I was able to post a big update on my inventory, including Fits that we have ordered to be built.

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...-honda-nj.html

It will get better eventually. Hopefully your Fit will arrive soon.

Yes. The Fiesta is a nice little car. I just feel astonished as to how much you can put in a Fit. Big screen tvs, bookselfs, large boxes, etc. I stuffed my 11 Fit all types of large items. It almost feels like the clown cars at the circus. Just amazing.

Congrats!!

Yeah. The Fit is much lighter and the engine loves to rev. I had an Evo X, which is obviously much faster, but driving my old 11 Fit felt faster at the same speed. It's an awesome little car.

Congrats!!

'04 Chevy Trailblazer. Fit has about the same leg room for the front and back. Way more tech, and way better gas mileage. I miss the trailblazer sometimes, but it wasn't worth the maintenance anymore.
