White Scrapes on Door Panel

I was wondering is anybody else getting white scrapes and rub marks on the driver's side door panel? Some are low and some are even on the leather/faux leather inset? Basically all over the place. What could be causing it and how do I get rid of them? I had the car full-service cleaned at the car wash and they are still there.

Hmm. Did you have the car waxed? It might be residue from wax, which wouldn't just rinse off, but if they washed your car and dried it by hand with towels, then that's not it. Spray some water on it and try to gently rub it off.

I noticed marks on my daughters inside door panel (I am assuming your talking about the inside of the car), and realized the marks are from her getting out of the car, and her shoes rubbing against the door itself, as she swings her legs out. I think this comes from being so low in the car and almost needing to climb out. I get these same type marks on the dash of the passenger side of our Honda Odyssey, but can blame my Son for that, as he likes to put his feet up on the dash for some reason.

As for any marks higher than say speaker level on the door, I can't imagine what might be causing that.

Yeah this is happening to me a lot, I make sure to not hit it with my shoe on the way out now. If I open the door fully it's not a problem. Minor.

I see this on ours also, but a quick wipe with a little 303 cleaner on a rag and it comes right off. I try to check for this each time I wash the car.
