Honda fit 2015 MT6Speed / CTV

Hi all!

I'm a Fit LX 2009 owner @ 185000+km, and I'm looking to buy the 2015 EX.

Is it true that even with the MT 6 Speed, you get better MPG than the MT 5 2009?

I'm quite sceptical and the reliability of the CTV in the long run altho it gets better MPG than my 2009 and the 2015's MT, so I might get the MT in my 2015. I'm quite efficient on gaz in my current MT.

I'm from Canada and we haven't received the Fit yet... And the honda.ca website shows that the Fit 2009 has a WAY better mpg than the 2015, which I founded confusing since the .com site said the opposite. Apparently EPA ratings were different at that time, but they never changed it even on the 2014 model..

Can't wait to get my hands on the new Fit Fuel efficiency is important since I do at least 160kms per day just to get at work

Regards all

Speaking of the Canadian Fit...why in the world is Canada getting touch-screen automatic climate controls while the US gets physical knobs? I saw these in a review and just confirmed on the honda.ca website that it's real. Are Canadian Fits not coming from the Mexico plant? And if they are, why would they produce two different climate control systems? FWIW, the touch-screen controls look really cool, much better than the US physical knobs.

I believe canadian fits are still made in japan (but could be mistaken).

Canada also gets 6MT EX-L's.

Mexican Fits all have the LX audio controls (even top trim) as well as a different grill.

I just watched another review of the Canada-spec Fit, and it claimed their Fits are sourced in Mexico too (see below). So why in the world would Honda give US customers a cheaper climate control system?? At the very least offer the touch-screen auto climate control on the EX-L, as seems to be the case in Canada.

If they had offered the auto climate controls on the EX-L I would have gotten it over the EX...

Of course, gotta have something to tout as new/updated in the next model year... Can't count how many customers upgrade from a car 1 model year old just cause the new one has some simple change...
