key fob cover

Has anyone found or been interested in a cover for the smart entry fob? It already had a few minor scratches when I picked the car up from the dealer, so I'd like to get a little silicone jacket for it.I did some searching but alas, the Google foo is not with me today. I did find some silicone jackets for the accord with push button start but they have an extra button which assume is for the truck. Other than that it appears to be the same. I may just have to wait a while.

I don't have my EX yet but will be looking for a cover too - I have one on my Elantra Limited remote, I got it through a company that advertised in the back of Motor Trend magazine

Interesting, maybe they are working on one. This is the closest I've found so far http://m.ebay.com/itm/190849715916?nav=SEARCH

It would work but it would be annoying. As another thought it would be cool to have a trunk pop button on the fob but probably redundant with the smart entry, I wonder why they put it on the accord not the fit.

Another member purchased one of the silicone cases for the Accord and cut out the parts for the extra button. They rest of it fits fine, apparently.

Yep - Here is a picture of how the Accord Key Fob Cover fits after cutting out the two thin pieces... The E-Bay link above looks like the same item I purchased...

The Emergency Horn button is now behind the cover where the dots are.

Does it still work with this cover on?

A friend recommended thejacketstore.com, LLC since he had some from them for a different car. I e-mailed them a few weeks ago and they said they did not have one for our key fob yet, but would have at some point in the future. No date was given.

Man, I love bbigmouth's cover and how it covers the whole fob. Can I put in another request for the link?

I'll add my name to the list of people who would love a link to this. My fob is already all scratched up from banging against my other keys.

Sort of off topic, but related to the horn button - how, exactly, does the panic button work? In the manual, it said that it would honk the horn and flash the lights for... 15 seconds? 30 seconds? Something like that. Is that correct? I tried it one night before reading what it was supposed to do, and it actually did nothing. Not a peep.

I was hoping it was more like the old Fits where pressing the lock button a couple times would make the car beep once to let you know where it was. That feature helped me find my car in more parking lots than I care to admit.
