Question USB and Android

Is there a way to explore my android device (Nexus 4) with HondaLink as though it's a USB hard drive to listen to my music?
I've tried connecting it as a Media device (MTP), but it HondaLink doesn't recognize it. Kinda sucks since the audio quality is poorer via bluetooth

This really could be a number of issues. If you can tell your phone to act as a storage device in any usb that's good. But it probably still won't work because the phone's storage is formatted to ntfs which the fit doesn't like. I recommend picking up a little thumb drive like a patriot autobahn which should fit in the usb port with the cover closed.

Honda said they won't have official Android "support" until Q4 (which is Oct-Dec).
