No major issues, just had scratched paint under the plastic wrap on delivery but dealer fixed later. All my problems have been ones the dealer has caused and popping the tire X__X

Wonderful car!

My Red EX has nearly 7K miles now. It's VIN indicates it came off the line in the mid 13,000 range (June, I think). I love the car and have had no problems worth mentioning. I did ask the dealer to adjust the position of the moonroof a tiny bit so that the seal aligned more perfectly, but this was more a case of obsessiveness than of defect. I haven't noticed the rear wheel liner issue, but I live in the norther mid-west, so snow season and slush build up might be an issue. Like someone else in the thread, I waxed my GK as soon as I got it, and the body panel alignment was excellent everywhere. The interior was near perfect as well. I would make two general suggestions to Honda re the new Fit. First, it would not cost much per unit to upgrade the carpets throughout. The stock ones hurt the "first impression." Second, improve the interface in the central display. The logic of the menus is okay, but it could be better. The owner's manual does not do a very good job of explaining things at some points. This is all a matter of firmware, so it should not be too hard to improve. I really cannot think of anything else to suggest about the design, and the build quality and function is nearly perfect. If I'm super careful around town, I can get nearly 50 mpg. My town is nearly flat and there's little traffic so my grandma style driving doesn't piss anyone off. On the freeway at 70-75, I get about 40 mpg. At a consistent 65 I get about 42 mpg. A head winds ruins everything, however. No complaints about gas mileage!

Our Passion Berry Pearl EX has been a joy for my daughter to drive. It enables her to come home from school any weekend she wants! Her build date is June 2014, and she has about 5000 miles on the car. For her to come home from Knoxville (to Nashville) and back, is a little over $25.00 in gas. When I was driving to Knoxville in our Honda Odyssey to pick her up, then return her to school, it was running me about $60.00 round trip (X2), or just under $120.00.

The only issue we had was the lane watch and rear view camera getting confused with each other, so Honda contacted us and arranged for her screen unit to be replaced. Honda must have figured this issue out, because I don't see anyone posting about it anymore (it was an early issue when the Fit's first started coming out).

We just missed the front bumper issue (June 9, 2014 was the production change date to the new bumper beam), so no problem there.

As for fit and finish issues that some others have had, we did not. Overall, we are very pleased with not only our purchase, but the Honda customer service as well, and would not hesitate to do it all over again.

10,085 miles on my EX-CVT. Only issue so far is a little wackiness with the audio system, but it's still lots better for me than my 2012.

Ultimately, probably more stressed about all the moving parts and gadgets on this car compared to the wonderful simplicity of the 2012 and 2008 sports autos I have. But so far, no problems at all.

what problems ?

My purple 6 speed manual EX has had no problems at all. I have 1400 miles on it in a month so far. I average about 18000 miles a year . I have driven a few cars and I can tell you that if you look at the entire package on the Fit including price, gas mileage, power , and fun the fun to drive rating the Fit can only be descibed with one word. AMAZING.

Have only had 'Bart' for 3 days, and have to say I love this car! Previously owned a 2013 and really never liked it that much. No particular reason, just didn't. But love 'Bart'. Think he'll be a keeper..

No problems at all.

Don't know build date, but roughly 7000 miles on it now, purchased first week of June (I bought the second one off the lot, two days after they took delivery, mine was still in the factory wrappings).

If you guys want to know problems, I owned a BMW before and it was in the shop every six months or so, luckily under warranty. I'll never buy another BMW again.

No issues with our White Orchid Pearl EX with CVT built in 08/'14.

Fit and finish great, came with Firestone tires, gas mileage even better than expected.

There are problems with this car! You've got to be kidding me.

I ain't seen none yet. My biggest problem is that my face hurts from smiling so much when I'm driving it.

This made me really smile....thanks! I pick up my 2015 EX 6speed this week and I must say that Quality Control thread had me a bit worried. I also know its a brand new model and I am taking a chance that things might need to be addressed but after testing it on the road I eagerly traded in my base 2010 Fit 5speed. This car seems AWESOME!

So far, so good

Other than the bumper recall, car has been great. Mpg better than rated, both city and highway. My sister in law is getting rid of her 2011 CR-V to get a Fit. 6,700 miles, and did first oil change Monday. Piece of cake. This car is a keeper.

18,000 miles on my Fit from June of last year! The only issue is the left front stereo speaker cuts in and out in sub zero temperatures. Having it checked Monday.

First post

I didn't do a whole lot of Online research before I bought my new EX 6-speed about two weeks ago vin# 35XXX. I work from my home and I was kind of tired of driving my full-size truck to run errands and my other cars are not really winter friendly so the search was on! I looked at a few other sub-compacts but nothing else really got my attention like the FIT!

As I said, I didn't do a whole lot of online research, I just thought "it's a Honda, It has to be a good car"

Well, the next day after purchase I stumbled onto the Fit Freak forums and then found the dreaded problems thread.... I wish I could un-see that!
Now I'm glad I didn't see it before my purchase as I might've had 2nd thoughts... I love this car!

So far I have about 500 trouble free miles on the odo. I went over it bumper to bumper... nothing to report yet!

I did make an adjustment to the front seat angle to make driving a bit more comfortable and I will start a thread on that soon...
