Dashboard Light Indicators

There are little indicators in the dash cluster that light up for parking lights, fog lights, and high beams. I think it's odd that they all point left. Left is backwards. Right is forward. I wonder if they point left because the Japanese don't read/write left to right.

Without going out to look, I'm almost positive those are standard ISO symbols, used on all types of product around the world. The earthmoving equipment my employer manufactures uses ISO symbols on our instrument panels, too.

Did you also notice that the rear wiper is on the wrong side of the car? It cleans the right side of the window (for RHD), but leaves the spot behind the driver wet and messy.....

Wouldn't you need to be able to do this for that to matter?

...and even if you could, all you'd see is the head rest, LOL.
