Prices will probably increase

With the contraction of the Japanese economy there will probably be more of a price increase to Japanese automobiles as they continue to make up their deficit to imports.

Probably a good idea to buy sooner rather than later. YMMV of course.

And stating the obvious, Japanese cars are still a better value than European cars.

European cars are nice but they make them so damn complicated in terms of engineering. Rolls Royce is the worst.

Indeed, this was ultimately the reason why I chose the Fit rather than the Phantom Coupe I had also been considering.
