Did you get your lug nuts?

After bringing home my new Fit I was putting my air compressor, fix-a-flat and jumper cables in the spare tire well area and when I got the wheel locks key in there too I noticed there was just the key. .no lug nuts the dealer took off. I thought about it for a minute wondered why the dealership kept them. I paid for the locks and if for some reason I get aftermarket wheels or just choose not to use the locks I'll need them. So did any of yall miss yours?

When I got my lug nuts removed and replaced with standard stuff at the dealer, the dealer returned the lug nuts and key to me. They must have forgot in your case. Otherwise, what's the point of having the lug nut key without the lug nuts and vice versa.

My dealer put the standard lugs in the locking lug package with the key, in the glove box.

I'll be asking for them the next time I'm in Ocala. I wonder how much they cost if I had to buy one? Locks are not something I would have bought but like so many Honda dealership 'options' they were on the car when I bought it and it seemed petty to ask them to take them off. The one thing I wish they had not put was the glass 'Diamond Protection' package. .I have no idea if it was paste wax or some kind of RainX.

The standard lugs are likely in the tire guy's spare lug nut collection, waiting for the time when he misplaces some other customer's lug nut.

He counts on the fact that most customers won't notice that they are missing and even then they might feel it is too petty a thing to mention. If they do, he'll just say "sorry, I forgot" and hand the customer four nuts from his supply of spares.

The biggest reason most of us have them is because the dealership installed them BEFORE we bought it.
