After months of waiting, finally picked up the 2016 LX!
I hope you enjoy your yellow Fit! Personally, it is still my preferred Fit color.
I picked up my 2015 LX manual exactly one year ago - Jan 09, 2015. As of today it has 10,048 miles. Here it is in the first or second week of ownership.
Congrats! The yellow looks great on the Fit and does make it stand out. You'll have no problem finding it in parking lots
Kudos to Honda for offering yellow; it's fun and playful and matches the small car's persona. I wish more companies did it for their subcompact
I agree--the number of times I've almost smeared a little silver car wile driving driving my big pickup truck made me not want to get anything but a bright color.
That's another good point; you're highly visible on the road and it is a safety feature
It'll be interesting to see if it happens to you but in my former yellow car, people would jump out in the street occasionally in front of me. It took me a year or so to figure it out, but they were buzzed or drunk, saw the yellow, and immediately thought it was a cab. You could make a lucrative business with it on the side
Once the weather gets warmer and the bugs come out, let us know if your car becomes more of a bug magnet compared to other colors. I'm not sure if it's just me, but during the warmer weather I always noticed more bugs around my yellow Fit compared to other cars. Did any other yellow owners notice this too?

I remember attracting a lot of bees with the yellow Focus. And with my current Jurassic Park Ford Explorer, I notice the bees are always trying to pollinate the yellow logo on the hood. Strange..... they must think the cars are giant flowers. As soon as I stop at a red light sometimes, here comes one or two bees around the car. I'm not afraid of them, but if you are, it may be something to keep in mind if you're considering a yellow car, lol
Ordered Huskyliners. Debated between them, the weathertechs, and the Aeries, went with Huskyliners for the simple reason that I could get them fast from Amazon with prime shipping. Think I'm going to hold off on the seat covers for a bit (besides the cheap generic waterproof one for the rear seats so the dog doesn't immediately muck it up) until my wallet recovers from its shell-shock.
I just got Weathertechs for our Prius. They're pretty awesome but man were they spendy. But it's money well spent (I hope!). They are definitely sturdy.
So here's where I'm at now. Rattlecanned the hubcaps, trying to decide if I want to go without them totally or not. Would need to get black acorn nuts and some sort of caps for the center nut. Just got the windows tinted, 35% all around, with the fancy ceramic formula one film from Llumar. Hopefully will keep it from turning into a total greenhouse in the summer. Needs a wash, but the weather keeps saying it's gonna rain and snow, so I keep holding off. I like the black and yellow

My Fit is white, but for some reason it seems to draw flies like no car I've ever owned. On a warm day, flies will be all over the car by the dozens. I can't even get them to leave it alone while I wash it. I'm thinking it must be the "candy" paint.
I had a mini truck in High School that I painted Chrysler Corona Taxi Yellow.. SO bright you could see it from orbit..
I'd come out after school and it would be covered with Yellow jackets.. Thousands of them.
Funny thing was they would be really mellow, I could open the door, slip in start the engine and they take off like they were on fire.. Needles to say you kept the windows up !

That;s why I bought mine. i had a red ar and i was always stop by police and military in a daily. Then with a silver fit nobody notice it. It is so gost that not even drunk i am stopped by police. That's a plus.
Also the silver reflect more sun than any other color so you can save in ac.

Obviously, they though your truck was the queen wasp.
