Need floor mats for 2016 Fit
Need floor mats for 2016 Fit
First thing I found out after buying my Fit is it didn't come with floor mats. Right now I've got the ones out of my old Corolla but they keep sliding around.
Any recommendations for aftermarket floor mats? All I really need are fronts. I would like some that hook onto the nubs on the floor.
My Fit is an automatic, in case that makes a difference.
TIA

I like my Husky brand, which come with two fronts and a single rear (covers both sides and the small middle hump). They have excellent coverage, and the driver's side is attached with 2 clips to the Fit's floor. Huskys have small spikes on the underside of the mat so they really grab the OEM carpet and stay put. They are USA made, lifetime guaranteed, and they look it.
The Weathertech brand has a front set and a rear set, so you cna just buy the front set. Huskys are a little cheaper.

I think for my Front and Back Husky mats it was around 130 dollars.
WeatherTech digital fit. Was so impressed with the protection and fit in the front, bought a set for the passenger area.
I live in snow country and they've already earned their keep by protecting the interior from salt and water (melting snow). Like how easily they can be removed, rinsed off, and reinstalled.
Won't have to worry about tracking sand and mud into the car during the warmer months.
2016 LX, 6-speed.

This is what I wanted originally too but at the time Husky only sold the front/back as a set, I even called Husky and the women said they don't break up the set. Well things changed later but it was too late for me. I really liked how the Weathertech rear surrounded the area around the seat clasps so I went with a full set of Weathertechs.
I've been relatively happy with the Husky mats after year 1, however the lip on the right side of the passenger mat has puckered away from the "hump" to the right of the accelerator. That has been a little aggravating as some things are getting in that gap.
The Husky fronts are higher than the Weathertechs, so they offer better protection. Its the reverse for the rears.
