controlling interior moisture

Our Fit is so much fun to drive that we are driving our minivan less and less. The minivan is parked at the curb and forms condensation on the windows. I am concerned it could become a problem. I've read that putting a tray of kitty litter in the car can help control the moisture. Anyone have experience with this or other moisture-control solutions?

silica packs that absorb moisture

large bag of rice (also good for when you drop portable electronics into puddles), but may be eaten by rodents.

small dehumidifier, if you can plug it in close to your house, drain water to the driveway.

How often do you drive the minivan? If you are looking to get the moisture out of the van and use it often, just be sure to run the AC while running the van with recirculate on. That will help to remove any built up moisture that has accumulated since the last time you used it.

The van should stay relatively dry unless it has a leak (or someone got in with snowy shoes, for example).

Silica packs (desiccants) are the way to go. Kitty Litter is for oil leaks.
