Buddy Club Short Shift for GK5?

I was poking around on the Axion Industries site and I found this.

It only has one review and I can't find much else on it, but according to the guy at Axion (of course) it's not too hard of an install.

Thoughts? Anyone else tried this?

I saw it also, Very interested but as you. I don't know anything about it. Other than it's a modified buddy club CRZ short shifter to fit the 2015-16 Honda Fit. You would think at least one person from this website would have installed one.

Someone on Truefitcrew installed one. They said shifts feel more crisp and direct now. A little heavier and not loose like stock. Throw is a little shorter.

Installation is not perfect. Requires a little persuasion to bolt up he said.

I finally installed it, it wasn't super easy. I had to take a dremel to the back of the center cable connection because it was a few millimeters too small. I'm not totally sure what modification was made to it that makes it any different from the CRZ shifter. And yeah, the bolts weren't perfectly on point and it took two people about twenty minutes just to get all of the bolts in.

It's pretty nice, quite a bit shorter and lower down. I can shift faster but the heavy flywheel doesn't spin down very fast so I end up grinding my clutch a lot if I try to be speedy. The travel is shorter and as a result it's a bit stiffer. Definitely a good buy.

Awesome news indeed. I'll let you guys know how the test fitting goes

In the mean time, highly recommend the new shift boot collar if you have an aftermarket shift knob. Fit's great. I'll be making a DIY thread soon.
