2015 Fit EX - Small rubber tube - What is this?

Found this just sitting in the back trunk area after a rear end damage was repaired. Any idea what this is? It probably belongs in the back area somewhere. It is 7 inches long.

I think it is the feed tube for the rear hatch window washer.

So I have to take off the inside panel of the hatch to access the area to check? Know how to take that panel off? I can't find any repair manuals for 2015 yet.

If the washer doesn't work that would likely tell the tale.. It could also be a drain tube for some cavity in the bodywork.

I just looked at my Fit. That tube is what conducts washer fluid from a line under the headliner to the hatch. The oval part snaps into an oval hole at the top of the hatch. It's ABOVE the rear window, not under the inside panel.

Doesn't look like whoever "fixed" your car did a very thorough job.

@LVIT, Living in the San Diego area, I'm also curious who did the work on this salvage car. From this and all your other posts, it sounds like they were not very detailed on the repairs.

Many insurers have a lifetime warranty on repairs if you use their recommended shop.

If your repair was done through insurance, this might get you a free repair.

I dont know whdid the actual work...I bought the car from a used car dealer. They may have done it through some body shop they usually work with..I dont know. Overall, Im satisfied with the car but there are few little things that need fixing. This is one of them. Kind of annoying but Im glad the major things are ok.

You think I can snap this in without taking anything apart?

It depends on where the connectors are located inside the roof and the hatch, and if you can fish them out to connect them.
