Help us buy our 1st Fit

White Orchid Pearl or Alabaster Silver
We are looking to buy our first Fit. Can't decide between these two.
1. 15 EX. White Orchid Pearl with 24k Miles. $16k out the door
2. 15 EX Alabaster Silver with 15k Miles, $16k out the door. This one has some visible scratches and scrapes in the back bumper.
I personally like the Pearl White and understand that it can be costly to paint. We are looking to hold on to this car. Not sure about the silver. How costly will it be to get the bumper painted on the Alabaster Silver? Is it worth getting that over the Pearl White?

Not as much as it used to...hard to keep a pristine exterior anymore (depending on where you live, perhaps...people 'round here think nothing of scratching/denting yer car and driving off) I don't fret over scratches to non rustable parts (bumper covers), but, I'd personally go for the white, as I think the Fit looks great in white

At the end of the day the mileage difference in negligible (especially is you yourself plan to put on 100,000 of KM), should be based on condition, extras, etc. Personally as to the color, white, too common and too boring. Silver, anything in the silver, grey screams I am boring, I am old, lol. But that is just my opinion on colors, lol.

We have the White orchid Pearl, or WOP. In the sun it has a bit of sparkle. In the winter the white looks surprisingly clean when covered with road salt.
I'd check when the 2015s were manufactured, which will be on the door sill of the car. The early 2015s still had growing pains.

I resemble that remark! Nothing wrong with being old and proud of it...besides silver doesn't show dust, and age proves that one has survived longer than brash youth who believe they will never get old.

my dd is black.. my GTI told me it needed to be black with the red accents..so I got the black. I would never consider a silver GTI..

2015 model year recalls included (but not limited to) the front bumper beam needing replacement due to new crash test procedures, A pillars needing to be inspected/replaced on some, exterior door handle brackets, roof grab handle brackets (on LX models), coil packs and CVT updates.
Mind you, I by no means am saying don't be against the 2015... They are still GOOD cars. Just know that early models have gone through a lot of little updates/recalls during that model year. For 2016, a LOT of the CVT Fits were made in Japan (with a noticeable build consistency difference I add)... NO manual models were made in Japan for the US market for 2016 if memory serves me right.

Lol, I have done my best in life to avoid the common colors, rather travel the path less travelled (aka, avoid the whites, silver's and various greys). Current stable is a 2016 Fit with the Mystic Pearl Yellow (normally hate yellow, but fits the car, ha), Atomic Mettalic Orange 1993 MR2, Black Pearl 2004 Echo and 2005 F350, Maroon/Bronze. Not too old yet, only 40, lol.
