Way more comfortable shifting!

I sit with the seat all the way back with a bit of lean also. Made shifting kind of annoying (3rd and 5th the most) so I sent a message to WC lathe werkz to see what he could do. He really came through and this thing is amazing, shifts feel like butter, and it's waaaaay more comfortable to shift.

nah, this isnt really a sports car lol. I didnt plan on doing anything to it except to make it a comfortable DD. This was the only thing it needed.

This looks as if the increased length of throw created by the extension of the stick would leave you leaning even further forward for third and fifth.

Nope. No lean at all. Its in a way better position and every shift is perfect now

It appears that you and I are built differently. I have long arms and a long torso with very short legs. The stock 6 speed shifter is near perfect for me with the seat all the way forward. The Fit doesn't fit everyone and that presents problems for Honda (and all other auto manufacturers).

Yea he did good. I feel a short shifter would make everything even better, but there is only 1 option at the time and i'd rather wait to see if anyone else does one. Its awesome now but would probably be perfect with a good short shifter.

Twenty-six in. inseam, size 8 ball cap. Cannot rob banks no matter where. "It looked like Kent" although I had never been in that town before.
