2018... How do I show just the clock?

So I set the background of the clock to Galaxy & the preview looks good... but how in the world do I make that clock show up on the screen?

I think it will show a clock screen or an image, but not both. Could be wrong.

Here's a link to download the 2018 manuals if you need them.

Under system, then clock, then clock display? You can have a wallpaper and clock at the same time

I don't know.
On my 2016 you CAN show both the clock and the wallpaper.
I have the clock against the background of the galaxy.

I have also changed the back-grounds, and kept the clock.
So at least in 2016 it was possible.
Can't imagine Honda would take that option away.

In my owners manual it say's the clock can be turned off, but then it's kind of unclear exactly how, with the layout of sub-menu's.

But for me I think the problem would be the opposite, I can change and adjust the clock, but I'm not sure how to turn it off.

Since my owners manual seems to suggest you CAN turn off the clock, is it possible you have the clock turned off without knowing it?

I've never really done anything to have the clock with the wallpaper, it has always been.

1. Hit menu
2. Click Info
3. Click Clock/Wallpaper
4. Click Digital clock
5. Click Galaxy
6. Click OK
7. Click OK next screen
Done...Works for me

Apology for Momentary Hi-Jack of Topic....

But I use the analog representation of the clock most often against the back-ground of the galaxy. Sometimes I get bored and change the background.

Whether it's really necessary or not, I like to (especially on cold mornings) let my Fit warm up for at least 30 seconds before I take off. I use the second hand, on the "analog" clock to mark the 30 seconds.

Now this is where it get's weird.

I swear, once in a while, I'll be watching that second hand, and it takes a beat, and actually "ticks" backwards 1 second.
The clock keeps good time, so it's not messing up the time it's showing. But I swear this "electronic" representation of a mechanical clock, IS actually doing this.

Either it's just way too early in the morning? Or I'm losing my mind. But I swear I've seen this happen more than once. Doesn't happen all the time. No way to predict. But I swear it happens.

Please someone else tell me they have seen the same thing?

Ok guys... I appreciate your help, but no one is understanding the question.

I know how to set the background of the clock and it's all set up...

*** How do I get the clock to show up the screen?

Does the radio need to be off to see it?
Is there a button to hit to show the clock screen?

I think most of us get it.
You want the clock against the background of the galaxy.
I think you caused some confusion by titling "How do I show JUST the clock", which makes it sound like you just want to show ONLY the clock.

Try the instructions in post 8.
My bet is that will work.

Help with audio display!

Hi!
I just bought a 2018 Honda Fit LX. It's fantastic, but I thing I did something wrong with the display. At the beginning it was showing all the music info (radio stations when listening to the radio, and songs title when listening to CD, USB etc). Now, it only shows a black screen with only the clock on the upper right side. I can't get to reset it to the previous setting. Any idea?

This method helped the original poster to fix it.

Clock? Who watches the clock while driving?
I'm too busy looking for potholes and weird drivers.

On my 17, there's a day/night brightness button with a sun and moon on it. I press that to cycle the day brightness, night brightness, clock only.

You probably just need to hit the button on the top left, the button with the little sun and moon on it
