New FIT & looking for floor mats

Hey there! I just recently bought my first Honda Fit 2018 LX MT. I'm wanting to maintain my car and keep things clean w/o much effort. I was looking at getting some simple floor mats from walmart but I've been considering floor mats specifically for my car. I've seen the weathertech's and husky. Also found the Honda all weather mats. What do you all suggest?

Thanks!

I bought the Weathertech mats because I bought only the front set at first, and Husky doesn’t sell the fronts and rears separately. I later bought the rear set, so I could have gone with either after all. As it is, I’m quite happy with the Weathertechs. They go up the sides and hold lots of wintertime slop.

I live in FL so I don't think winter will make much of a difference for me since we're not prone to snow. I'm really aiming for the Husky's. I'm not liking the price tag of $133 on amazon but for the value it'll save on my car, I'm thinking it's worth it.

Nope, I rarely hit up the beach. I'm looking at pricing, the weathertech's are $50 more than the husky's. Are the weathertech's worth that $50 increase?

Have the Husky full set.

Also have the 3D Aries Maxpider's for the fronts.

Now that I've got a Lloyd's RubberTite for the cargo area, I am seriously considering this for the front's as well.

The Lloyd RubberTite's look pretty cool. If they had an orange color for the mats, I might've selected them. My Fit is orange if you couldn't guess

Since you live in Florida you can pick up any of the upgraded mats and in your case you really won't see any difference between them. As you seem to have already concluded price will probably be the deciding factor.

not on the GK.

husky liners are thinner and have a more plastic appearance but functionally have better coverage than the weathertechs.

but then again, if ure not going to the beach and dont have any snow, just use your factory carpet mats. also check out berber mats too. those look so much nicer.

I was actually considering the WeatherTech's but if there really isn't much of a difference between the Husky's and them, I'll probably lean towards the cheaper route.

Sadly I didn't get any mats with my car. It's just bare carpet that I want to protect. I'll probably get the Husky's. They're not extremely expensive and qualify for amazon prime 2 day shipping

I have the OEM all season mats with the high walls. They mount the same as the stock mounts, too. Think I ordered from College Hills Honda

FL here. I have the full set of Husky mats for my 2018 and love them. Weathertech wasn't worth the higher price.

That's awesome! I'll make sure I install them correctly and not over the gas pedal

You can get the red color. As close as you can get to orange. Otherwise get a complementary color.

I'm considering brown or burgundy.

One thing I don't like about my Husky's is that it can get a little slippery when wet.
